SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNC Greensboro men’s basketball will look to pick up a 23rd victory on the season when the Spartans on Saturday night face Wofford at the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Five Facts To Know

--A victory would give UNCG a 23rd win on the season, tied for the third-most in a single season in program history. Last year’s team won a school-best 27 games, surpassing the 25 victories compiled by the 2016-17 team.

--UNCG has not lost back-to-back games since Nov. 24-28, 2017, when the Spartans lost to Wake Forest and then Presbyterian respectively. That’s a span of 56 games without dropping two straight decisions.

--A victory would give UNCG 10 road victories on the season. Only once before in program history have the Spartans won at least 10 road games in a single season (11 by the 1994-95 team).

--Entering Saturday’s action, this game between UNCG and Wofford will pit two of only 10 teams in Division I with at least 22 wins on the year so far.

--Wofford enters the game riding a 13-game winning streak dating back to Dec. 29. The Terriers have yet to be defeated in conference action, sporting a 14-0 record in the SoCon. Additionally, they have won 14 straight games at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium after dropping the season opener to North Carolina.

The Spartans This Season

UNCG is currently 22-4 overall on the season and 11-2 in SoCon games. The Spartans have identical non-conference and conference records (11-2) heading into Saturday’s game against Wofford. The 11 non-conference victory set a new program record.

Individually, senior guard Francis Alonso (16.9) and sophomore guard Isaiah Miller (15.3) have paced the Spartans in scoring. Additionally, junior forward Kyrin Galloway is averaging a career-high 9.6 points per game as is senior guard Demetrius Troy (8.2).

Defensively, Miller is second in SoCon games in steals per game (3.2) as is junior forward James Dickey in blocks (2.2).

Series History
This will be the 43rd meeting between the SoCon rivals dating back to their first matchup that took place on Nov. 30, 1985. While Wofford holds a 10-victory advantage in the all-time series, UNCG has won four of the last five meetings.

Last year in Spartanburg, UNCG took a 76-66 decision.

Upcoming For The Spartans
