GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro women's basketball makes its second consecutive trip to the Triangle to face North Carolina Friday at 7 p.m. in Chapel Hill.

The Spartans fell to North Carolina Central 66-57 on the road Wednesday. Junior guard Nadine Soliman, 13 points and nine rebounds, and sophomore forward Aja Boyd, 12 points and eight rebounds, nearly recorded double-doubles in the game.
Soliman leads the team with 20 points per game, which leads the SoCon and ranks 35th in the NCAA, and also averages 7.8 rebounds, which ranks second in the SoCon, 2.6 steals and 1.9 assists per game, while junior forward Te’ja Twitty averages 15.1 points, which ranks sixth in the SoCon, and leads the team with 8.9 rebounds, which leads the conference.
Boyd, meanwhile, averages 9.7 points and 6.9 rebounds.
The Spartans lead the SoCon in field goal percentage defense (34.8 percent), which ranks 37th in the NCAA, rebounding margin (5.0), scoring defense (51.0), which ranks fourth in the country, scoring margin (18.7), which ranks 32nd, steals per game (10.6), which ranks 46th in the NCAA, three-point field goal defense (21.1 percent), which ranks sixth in the country, turnover margin (8.11), which ranks ninth in the NCAA, and turnovers forced (22.56), which ranks 26th in the country.
North Carolina leads the all-time series 11-5, but the two schools have only played twice since the 1978-79 season with the last meeting coming in 2011.

North Carolina won its last time out with an 82-55 win over UNCW, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Tar Heels are led by Stephanie Watts with 16.6 points per game, Janelle Bailey with 16.1 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game and Paris Kea with 14.2 points per game.
