“We’re excited about Ariel joining our staff,” Patterson said.  “We think that she’ll be a tremendous asset because of her background at different levels.  We look forward to her contributing to our overall success.”

During her time at Texas, she handled office-related logistics and operations of scheduled meetings, arranged travel, processed expense reports, managed the operating budget and planned department-wide events and oversaw records retention.

“Maya has a done a lot in her undergraduate work that will allow her to be successful here,” Patterson said.  “We look for her to contribute in a graduate manager position, where she’ll be responsible for some player personnel, community service and contribute to our overall development of our program.”

The Dayton, Ohio native earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Maryville in May of 2018 in Rawlings Sports Business Management and is pursuing her Master’s in Applied Arts and Sciences at UNCG.
