GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNCG women’s tennis hosted a trio of teams this afternoon at the UNCG Tennis Courts. The Spartans played a hidden dual tournament, competing against Appalachian State in doubles action, before taking on Campbell and Presbyterian in singles play. Sophia Adams (Miami, Fla./TERRA Environmental Institute) and Emily Ory (Lafayette, La./Louisiana Connections Academy) each went 2-1 on the day.

The Spartans are back in action early tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m. as they will begin day two of the tournament. The second day will consist of two doubles competitions before a lunch break. After the lunch break, the teams will head back to the court for a singles matchup to close out the weekend.
