GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNCG men’s basketball team continues its two-game stretch at the Greensboro Coliseum Saturday as the Spartans host perennial Southern Conference power Davidson. Junior forward Kyle Cain (Chicago, Ill./Arizona State) leads the Spartans in scoring at 15.7 points per game and has scored in double figures in 17 of 19 games this year. Cain is coming off a 20-point, 16-rebound effort against the Citadel for his league-leading seventh double-double of the season. De’Mon Brooks, the preseason SoCon Player of the Year, leads the team in scoring at 17.3 points per game and on the glass at 6.7 rebounds per game. Brooks is shooting 52.5 percent (73-of-139) from the field and 71.4 percent (55-of-77) from the free throw line. Brian Sullivan is second on the team in scoring at 12.2 points per game and leads the team with 41 three-pointers.
