GREENSBORO, N.C.  – UNCG women's basketball drops a Division I program record 106 points in Tuesday's matchup with visiting Erskine. Backed by 31 points from Nadine Soliman, the Spartans' win margin of 62 is the second largest in the school's history, winning the contest by a final of 106-44.

Soliman opened up her performance with 14 points in the opening quarter, hitting 5-for-6 from the field with an additional four from the charity stripe. The Spartans shot 62.6 percent in the first 10 minutes, while forcing 12 turnovers in the beginning frame and keeping their opponents to just 10 points.

UNCG's defense continued to be dominant in the second quarter, holding the Fleet to just three field goals and eight points. The Spartans outrebounded Erskine 17-3 in the period, taking a lopsided 62-18 lead into the half.

Outscoring the visitors 24-14 in the third, UNCG hit 10 of their 12 attempts from the floor, adding another 20 points in the final stanza. Five Spartans tallied double-digit afternoons with Te'ja Twitty pouring in 16 on a perfect 7-for-7 night. The Spartans are currently on a three-game win streak, with their record on the season sitting at 4-2. With a win over UNC Asheville this Friday, UNCG will be off to its best seven-game start in nearly three decades.

-- UNCG pulled down 46 boards in comparison to the Fleet's 22, the most rebounds they've had in a single game over the current campaign

The Spartans return to the road later in the week, taking on UNC Asheville at Kimmell Arena this Friday at 6 p.m. UNCG is 14-3 against the Bulldogs all-time but dropped their last meeting with UNCA 77-63, back during the 2016-17 season.
