CLEMSON, S.C. – Andrew Moritz (Charlotte, N.C./Providence) earned 2017 Clemson Regional All-Tournament Team honors for his performance during the 2017 NCAA Clemson Regional.  The Spartans went 1-2 in the regional, eliminating St. John's in the process.  UNCG ended the season 36-24, having won 35 games in back-to-back seasons for the third time in school history.  It was also UNCG's first-every Southern Conference Tournament title, earning the team's third NCAA Regional appearance.

This is one of several accolades for the sophomore outfielder.  Moritz earned First Team All-Southern Conference, CoSIDA Academic All-America this season and was a Freshman All-SoCon performer last year.  During the tournament, Moritz hit at a .417 average and did not record an error in the three-game regional.
