Tim Peete is in his second year as a graduate assistant manager on head coach Wes Miller's staff in 2017-18. Peete helped the Spartans win the Southern Conference regular season championship last year. The Spartans won a program-record 25 games last season, including a team-record 14-4 mark in league play. UNCG advanced to the postseason for the second-straight year, earning the SoCon's automatic bid into the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).
Peete was a four-year letterwinner at Tulsa under head coaches Doug Wojcik and Danny Manning. He played in 129 games during his career, including 61 starts at the guard and forward positions. He helped Tulsa posted a 74-56 record during his four seasons.
In his senior season, Peete played in all 34 games, starting 33 games for the Hurricane on its way to a 21-13 overall record and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament as Conference USA Champions. He averaged 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game as a senior while also earning the Conference USA Spirit of Service Award.
In 2012-13, he helped Tulsa to a 17-16 overall record and an appearance in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). He made 33 appearances and started 18 games as a junior. His play also helped Tulsa record a 17-14 record as a sophomore and a 19-13 record as a freshman.
Peete earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Tulsa in 2014.
