Taylor Hollander enters her first season in Greensboro during the 2016-17 season. Prior to joining the UNCG staff, Hollander coached at Queens University in Charlotte, and played collegiately for four seasons, one at SUNY Binghamton and then the final three at the University of North Florida.
After completing her freshman season at SUNY Binghamton, Hollander transferred to the University of North Florida where she earned All-Atlantic Sun honors in all three of her years with the Ospreys. Earned 47 singles victories while at North Florida. The Coral Springs, Fla. native earned All-Atlantic Sun honors as a sophomore in doubles competition when she finished the season 20-12 with a 14-5 record in dual matches. As a junior, she was named to the All-Atlantic Sun Second Team in singles play, as well as All-Atlantic Sun Second Team in doubles. The All-Atlantic Sun honors continued to roll in as a senior as she earned Second Team honors at No. 1 doubles after going 3-1 in conference play.
While the assistant coach at Queens College in Charlotte, both the men’s and women’s teams won the South Atlantic Conference. It was the first time in six years that the men’s program qualified for the NCAA tournament, while it was the first time in program history that the women’s program made the NCAA tournament.
