Andre Morgan is in his second season as an assistant coach on Wes Miller's staff in 2017-18. Morgan helped the Spartans to a program-record 25-10 overall record and a 14-4 mark in Southern Conference play last season, his first year in Greensboro.

Morgan helped the Spartans win their third Southern Conference regular season championship and the program's first-ever No. 1 seed in the SoCon Tournament. He guided the Spartans to their fifth postseason appearance in program history as UNCG earned the SoCon's automatic bid into the National Invitation Tournament (NIT).

Prior to Kentucky Wesleyan, Morgan spent one season as an assistant coach in the Southern Conference on Chuck Driesell's staff at The Citadel in 2014-15.

Prior to The Citadel, Morgan spent two seasons on staff at UAB for head coach Jerod Haase. He spent the 2013-14 season as associate director of basketball operations and the 2012-13 season as an administrative assistant. He began his collegiate coaching career at Young Harris College for two seasons (2010-12), helping the Division II squad to a 22-win season in 2011-12, a 17-game improvement.

Morgan, a native of Buford, Ga., played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Kennesaw State, where he received the 2006 Atlantic Sun Conference Freshman of the Year honor. At Buford High School, Morgan earned 2005 McDonald's All-America honorable mention recognition and was named to the AA All-State by the Georgia Sports Writers Association as a senior. He averaged 20.3 points and 10.1 rebounds, leading the Wolves to the state semifinals and a 23-8 record. He left Buford as the all-time leading scorer with 1,503 points and was a three-time All-Region VIII selection.
