Adam Hutson begins his first season as the volunteer assistant coach after two years as the Spartans' video coordinator & student assistant. He was an assistant coach in the summer of 2018 for the Champion City Kings of the collegiate Prospect League. He spent two seasons as a catcher for the Spartans.

Hutson will assist in working with the Spartans' catchers and hitters along with coaching first base, directing all camps, coordinating video archives and arranging the team’s travel and meals.

Hutson graduated from UNCG in 2018 with a degree Recreation and Parks Management.
