Darius Madison was named the National Player of the Week after scoring both goals in the upset.

The Cavaliers own a 7-3-4 overall record and a 3-2-4 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Virginia ranks 12th in the nation in scoring, finding the back of the net 30 times in 14 games while only allowing 15 goals against. Eric Bird is one of 12 Cavaliers to score a goal this season as he leads the team with 15 points on the strength of six goals and three assists.
