GREENVILLE, N.C. - UNC Greensboro women's golf (302-303-303) completed the Pirate Collegiate Classic in fifth place, after the Spartans on Tuesday collected a 15-over 303 in the third round. 

Junior Tara Bettle (72-75-71) finished the tournament in third place after completing the third round at one-under par. Bettle was one of just for competitors in the field to finish the final round under par. 

After winning the individual championship at the William & Mary Invitational earlier this month, the third place finish marks the Berlin, Germany native's third career top-five finish. 

Sophomore Hailey Joy (75-78-76) collected her highest career finish, tied for 19th place after carding a four-over 76 in the third round. 

Junior Sara Rydman (75-76-78) was also amongst the group that finished tied for 19th place, as she carded a six-over 78 over the final 18 holes. 

Freshman Anna Grace Brock (84-74-78) moved one spot up the leaderboard on Tuesday to finish in 35th place. 

Freshman Anna Bowman (80-81-82) finished tied for 43rd place after she finished the third round at 10-over par. Bowman recorded a birdie on Hole 5. 

The Spartans will return to action next Monday to host the team's annual home tournament, the Starmount Fall Classic. The first two rounds will be played on Monday, Sept. 30 with the final round taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
