GREENSBORO, N.C. – In what has already been a monumental season for Spartan athletics on the field, UNCG student-athletes set another school record this season, earning a 3.23 cumulative grade point average for the year (2017-18).

UNCG's 17 combined teams have 151 student-athletes on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, accounting for 63.7% of all student-athletes. UNCG had 86 earn the Dean's List honors and 54 on the Chancellor's List. 16 student-athletes finish the 2017-18 academic year with a 4.0 cumulative GPA and 20 student-athletes posted a 4.0 GPA for the 2018 spring term.

Women's golf led Spartan athletics with a 3.71 GPA for the academic year, and led all women's sports with a 3.77 GPA in the spring semester. Men's tennis led all male teams with a 3.34 GPA, while the baseball team earned athletics' highest team GPA for the spring semester at 3.24.
