SOPHOMORE (2019): Recognized as a Second Team All-SoCon standout both singles and doubles, along with partner Nico Grewe … one of three Spartans to finish with at least 10 singles victories on the season with Grewe (11) and Roger Rogowski (10) … closed out doubles play with 12 wins, all of which came alongside Grewe … kicked off the season with a three-set victory Klein Evans (Richmond) 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 and followed with a triumph against Yevhen Sirous (Radford) by a 6-4, 7-5 margin … opened March with back-to-back victories over Alvaro Arce (James Madison) and Jack Pyritz (The Citadel) … the win over Pyritz (6-1, 6-3) marked the first of the SoCon slate for Palmer … closed out a solid weekend swing through the South Carolina Upstate with two-set wins against Furman’s Clarke Wilson (7-6 {7-4}, 6-4) and Presbyterian’s Daniel Stenger (6-4, 6-3) … put together his longest winning streak of the season (three matches) in the final week of March … began the streak with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Omar Williams (Wofford) and followed by downing USC Upstate’s Francisco Neto (6-4, 3-6, 6-3) and Appalachian State’s Alex Pavkovich (6-4, 5-7, 6-3) … grabbed his final singles win of the season against Davidson’s Axel Fries (2-6, 6-4, 6-2) … came through with his first three doubles wins in February, alongside Grewe, on Feb. 3 as they took down Josh Keitelman / Matt Fernandez (Richmond) by a 6-3 final … emerged with a 7-6 win over Yevhen Sious / Rodrigo Magalhaes (Radford) … capped off the opening month of play with a 6-4 victory against Juan Lugo / Chris Mikrovas (ETSU) … came through with eight doubles wins in March, including four straight between March 3-March 9 … began the four-match streak against Pierre Kohler / Alvaro Arce (James Madison) with a 6-1 win … closed out a 6-2 win over Alex Mascioli / Jared Isaacs (Duquesne) on March 4 … emerged with a 6-2 victory against Willem van Zyl / Gavin Stewart (The Citadel) … capped off the four-match winning streak with a 7-5 victory against Lawrence Perrin / Luiz Faria (Coastal Carolina) … picked up the fifth win in March against Oscar Alvarez / Daniel Stenger (Presbyterian) by a 6-3 margin on March 17 … claimed three straight wins in doubles play to end March, including a 7-6 (15-13) triumph over Julian Chousa / Omar Williams (Wofford) … came through with a 6-4 win against Fernando Bernardes / Ankush Arora (USC Upstate) on March 24 … capped off a 6-2 win at Appalachian State over Milo Bargeron / Alex Pavovich … earned the final doubles win of the season on April 10 at Davidson, where he and Grewe defeated Axel Fries / Matthew Rose by a 6-4 margin.

FRESHMAN (2018): Defeated James Madison’s Alvaro Arce in his first collegiate action at the Elon Men’s Invitational… also knocked off Elon’s Kyle Frankel in straight sets … Defeated UNC Asheville’s Olly Cull at the Spartan Fall Invitational … has earned two doubles wins when partnered with Jack Burkill, defeating UNC Asheville’s Olly Cull and Edward Colclough and East Carolina’s Freddie McGeehan and Kasey Countee ...earned Second Team All-SoCon honors in his freshman season … earned SoCon All-Freshman honors … finished 14-7 in singles play competing at flights 2 and 3 … went a combined 6-6 in doubles play, partnering with Connor Thompson and Jack Burkill … won his first six matches to being the season … closed the season by winning four-straight matches … earned seven wins in straight sets … earned SoCon victories against Samford’s Eduardo Lourido (Mar. 12), Mercer’s Olivier Stuart (Apr. 3), The Citadel’s Willem van Zyl (Apr. 8), Wofford’s Julian Chousa (Apr. 10), Chattanooga’s Simon Bustamante (Apr. 14) and Samford’s Justin Ghavami (Apr. 20) … won back-to-back doubles matches against pairs from Troy (Mar. 14) and Bryant (Mar. 18) … earned a doubles win in his first attempt with Burkill against a pair from Appalachian State (Mar. 27) … earned SoCon victories against pairs from Mercer (Apr. 3), The Citadel (Apr. 8) and Wofford (Apr. 10) when partnered with Burkill.

PREP: Gloucestershire County singles champion at age 10, 12 and 16 and is the current reigning champion in Great Britain ... earned a men's and U18 county singles championship and has represented Gloucestershire at all age groups since the age of nine … currently ranked in the top 20 in the United Kingdom, Palmer was ranked as high as 13th in Great Britain as of April, 2017… a representative of his home county of Gloucestershire since the age of 15, he has won Gloucestershire County Singles Championships since the age of 10 and is the reigning 2016-17 U18 and Men's County Champion… Palmer played at the prep level for St. Peter's High School, leading the team to a fifth place finish in the National UK U18 Schools Tennis Championship Finals … in Club action, Palmer trained at the JTC Tennis Academy in September of 2015 ... while with JTC Academy, he won a 2016 U18 G2 National Singles Competition, won the U18 UK Summer National Tour (singles/doubles combined) and appeared in the quarterfinal in the UK U18 Summer National Doubles Final ... in February 2017, Palmer reached the final of the UK U18 Winter Single Nationals.
