Freshman (2017-18): Competed in eight matches during the fall season, starting her career off with three-straight wins at the Elon Fall Invitational… Earned wins over Appalachian State’s Sandra Anglesjo and Marisa Anthony at the Elon Fall Invite… Earned a three-set win over Pauline Roustan of Campbell in the Spartan Classic (Oct. 14)… Teamed up with fellow freshman Brianna Gomez for five doubles matches… Earned two wins at the Spartan Classic, defeating teams from Presbyterian and Campbell… Paired up with Sophia Adams for a match at the Battle at the Beach.

Prep: Competed with the Kronk Tennis Academy from 2014-2017 under head coach Simon Merrin… Winner of Wynnum, Gympie, Tweed Heads, Nambour and Harvey Bay Open Australian Doubles tournaments… Won the U18 Redcliffe Open Australian Singles tournament… Cross had a banner year at 16, winning the Queensland Clay Court Championship singles, Elite Tennis International Singles and Mooloolaba Junior Championships singles… Selected to play at the 2015 U19's All-Australia Nationals representing the state of Queensland… Played No. 1 at MFAC for three seasons… Represented Matthew Flinders Anglican College twice who placed second at the Queensland Knockout State Competitions and was selected to play at the Australian Schools' Tennis Championship… At MFAC, Cross was a three-time All-State Debate and Chess performer… A multi-sport athlete, Cross also competed in track and field, cross country, netball and basketball…  Participated in Surf Life Saving, swimming and dancing… In track and field, was a member of the 4x100 team that set the region record.

Personal: Cross is the daughter of Michael and Shayne Cross... She is majoring in language, literatures and cultures.
