2015 (Junior): The only Spartan to play in and start all 50 games … Served as UNCG’s primary third baseman … Batted .296 with 59 hits, 30 runs scored, 12 doubles, 10 home runs and 41 RBI … Produced 19 multi-hit and a team-high 12 multi-RBI efforts … Enjoyed an eight-game hitting streak from April 8-21 … Also appeared in eight games on the mound compiling a 1-0 record and 3.86 earned run average with a save … Carried the Spartans to victory in the series finale at VMI (May 10), going 3-for-5 with three runs scored, two RBI, two doubles and a home run while picking up the win on the mound by tossing 4.1 scoreless innings in relief with three strikeouts … Began his UNCG career with a two-hit, two-run, two-RBI performance against local rival High Point (Feb. 13) in a 12-8 victory … Tallied three hits and four RBI in the series-opening 17-2 win over defending SoCon champion Western Carolina (March 20) … Notched four RBI and a home run at Mercer (April 26).
College of Central Florida: Batted .306 and tallied 48 hits, 30 runs scored, seven doubles, two triples, four home runs and 39 RBI in 2014 … Led the Patriots to a 35-19 overall record and a 17-7 league mark as the squad made an impressive run through the state tournament … Ended his season by showing off his versatility against Gulf Coast State College in a state tournament elimination game as he went the distance on the mound in his first start since high school and also hit a home run … Patriots won the contest 4-2 … Recorded a season-high four hits in games against Daytona State College and Santa Fe College while also notching a season-best five RBI in both contests … Also hit two home runs in the game against Santa Fe which Central Florida won by a 22-4 margin.
High School: Led the Wildcats to the Class 8A region finals as a senior as the team was ranked No. 1 in the nation by MaxPreps for a number of weeks … Went 9-2 on the mound with a 1.86 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 79 innings while also hitting .341 with 24 runs scored, 21 RBI and four home runs his senior season … Earned 2012 High School Player of the Year for Hillsborough County and the Suncoast … Also participated in the Hillsborough County and FACA all-star games.
