Honors

2017
SoCon Honor Roll

Senior (2017-18): Competed in ten matches during the fall season, earning two wins… Defeated Appalachian State’s Teodora Sevo in straight sets… Earned a win over Caroline Ferrari of Presbyterian in two sets… Dropped three set matches to Rebecca Morese of Appalachian State (Sept. 16) and Isabel Boada of Campbell (Oct. 14)… Competed in 10 doubles matches when paired with Nancy Bridges… Won three consecutive doubles matches at the Spartan Classic, defeating pairs from Appalachian State, Presbyterian and Campbell… Knocked off a pair from Elon at the ITA Regionals in Chapel Hill… Earned two more wins at the Coastal Carolina Battle at the Beach, defeating a tandem from Coastal Carolina and the same pair from Campbell.

Junior (2016-17): Boaz competed in 17 singles matches, earning a 4-12 record… Went 2-5 in SoCon play… Defeated Mckenzie Barco of Chattanooga in three sets… Notched another three set victory over Taylor Carlson of Wofford… Competed in 21 doubles matches partnered with Nancy Bridges for 19 of those matches… Went 9-9 in doubles play, with an 8-9 record at No. 2 doubles… Earned a 4-3 record in Southern Conference doubles play… Earned doubles wins over Chattanooga, Wofford, Mercer and ETSU at No. 2 doubles… Earned a 6-4 victory over Katie Sidor and Haley Powell of Mercer in the SoCon Tournament.

Sophomore (2015-16): Competed in 30 matches… Earned a 3-12 record in singles play… Played at No. 4 (0-3), No. 5 (3-7) and No. 6 (0-2)… Partnered with Sarah Swiderski for 13 doubles matches (2-11)… Competed at No. 1 (0-1) and No. 2 (2-10) doubles… Earned a two-set victory over USC Upstate's Anna Nemeth (Feb. 27)… Won two of three matches from Mar. 13-25over Georgia Southern's Francisca Norregaard (Mar. 13) and Mercer's Haley Powell (Mar. 25), a Southern Conference victory… Defeated Western Carolina's Megan McLindden and Savannah Taranto (Mar. 4) for a SoCon Doubles victory… Earned a 6-4 victory over Mercer's Roxy Bartz and Xandra Fougner (Mar. 25).

Freshman (2014-15): Played in a total of 48 matches with a 7-11 record in singles and a 14-16 mark in doubles ... had a 4-5 singles record during the spring season playing No. 4 (1-0), No. 5 (1-2) and No. 6 singles (2-3) ... earned a conference win against Western Carolina's Montse Mesalles at No. 6 singles, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 ... In doubles, had a 9-7 record at No. 2 doubles with partner Stephanie Falcon ... also paired with teammates Amy Ellis, Alisha Burton, Masey DeMoss, Yasmin Franco, Jamie Grinberg and Soumeya Anane.  

High School: Was a three-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net and is ranked No. 20 in the state of Georgia ... she has a stellar 5-3 record against fellow three-star recruits ... played four years for Saint Pius X high school winning a state championship during her sophomore season ... her team was a state runner-up during her senior year and she was team captain ... in the classroom, Boaz graduated with a solid 3.78 GPA.
