Bio

2015 (Senior): Made 49 appearances and started 48 games – 46 at first base … Batted .324 with 58 hits, 43 runs scored, a team-high 18 doubles, two triples, a team-best 12 home runs, 28 walks and 34 RBI … Finished third among Southern Conference players in slugging percentage (.648), fifth in doubles, eighth in on base percentage (.425) and ninth in home runs … Produced 15 multi-hit and 10 multi-RBI efforts … Enjoyed a 14-game hitting streak from April 18-May 14 … Tallied four hits against Princeton (March 7) … Hit two doubles in games against Elon (April 21) and Wofford (May 3) … Chipped in with three RBI in contests against Western Carolina (March 22), at Samford (April 3) and at Mercer (April 26) … Hit his first home run of the campaign in the season-opening win over High Point (Feb. 13) to go along with two hits, two runs scored and two RBI … Drew three walks in consecutive games at Mercer.

Junior College: Spent 2013 as the starting first baseman for perennial junior college powerhouse Chattanooga State, earning first-team all-conference honors in region 7 … Named national player of the week for games from Feb. 25 – March 3 as he hit .611 (11-for-18) with 10 RBIs and six runs scored … Batted .358 in 2013 with 59 hits, 42 runs scored, nine doubles, four triples and team bests in home runs (10) and RBIs (65) … RBI total was tied for third nationally … Also slugged .642 with an on base percentage of .437 … Made three errors all season in 418 chances for a fielding percentage of .993.

UNC Asheville: Began his collegiate career at UNC Asheville … Produced a team-best .340 batting average in 31 games played … Tallied three home runs and 10 RBIs while slugging .528.
