2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in 52 games and made49 starts – 43 in left field and six at designated hitter… batted .310 – the fourth-highest mark on the team– with 61 hits, 21 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 31RBI and 30 runs scored … one of six UNCG players to hit .303or better … led the Spartans in doubles and placed second inthe Southern Conference … amassed the third-highest sluggingpercentage of any UNCG player at .497 … drew 16 walks andwas 4-for-5 in stolen base attempts … did not commit anerror in 84 defensive chances … Spartans were 5-1 when hewas the designated hitter … produced 16 multiple-hit effortsand five multi-RBI performances … enjoyed a career-bestnine-game hitting streak which spanned May 4 to the end of theseason … went five-straight contests with multiple hits(March 12-17) … hit .333 (16-for-48) when leading off aninning and .714 (10-for-14) with a runner on third base and lessthan two outs … tied for second on the squad with 17 two-outRBI … clubbed his first career grand slam, theSpartans’ second of the campaign, in the top of the ninthinning at Furman (May 11) as he was 3-for-5 with four RBI, twodoubles and a run scored … turned in a solid effort in themiddle contest of the College of Charleston series (April 6), going3-for-4 with three doubles and a run scored … recorded sixputouts in a 9-7 victory over Princeton (March 20).

2012 (Freshman): Played in 16 games, making 12starts – seven as designated hitter and five in left field… also made 10 appearances on the mound with a 1-0 record… produced two RBI and hit his lone home run of the campaignin the season-opening 13-0 victory over Delaware State (2/17)… drew a pair of walks against Samford (3/9) … pickedup the victory in a 6-3 decision over Princeton (3/21), throwingtwo scoreless innings and striking out a batter … hurled aseason-high 59 pitches against Furman(3/30).

Earned four varsity letters as a pitcher, outfielder and firstbaseman at North Stokes High School in Danbury, N.C. for coachScott Smith … earned all-state honors after his seniorseason … named the Northwest 1A/2A Conference Player of theYear his last season … earned all-conference honors his lastthree seasons … earned a spot on the State Games and SeniorGames rosters … hit .509 as a senior at the plate, whileearning five wins and sporting a 2.10 ERA on the mound … seta school record with 11 home runs as a senior … also playedas a power forward on the basketball team for two seasons.
