Named to the Southern Conference All-Freshmen Team … Appeared in 22 games with eight starts … Registered a 2.70 ERA, 8-4 record and four complete games in 59.2 innings pitched … Recorded 46 strikeouts to 30 walks and a .194 opposing batting average … Earned her first collegiate save in her second appearance with a scoreless inning and two strikeouts against Iowa State (Feb. 11) … Got her first win with a scoreless inning of relief and strikeout versus UMKC (Feb. 17) … Threw a five-inning, one-hit shutout of Presbyterian (April 10) with seven strikeouts … Tossed 4.1 scoreless innings in relief with three strikeouts for the win over Campbell (April 25).

A three-time letterwinner at Eastern Alamance High School in Mebane, North Carolina … played for head coach Danny Way … earned all-conference, all-state and Mid-State 3A Pitcher of the Year honors … named the Powerade State Game Player of the Year twice … led team to conference championship sophomore and junior years … holds the school’s single season and career strikeout record … played club ball with the Carolina Cardinals under Scott Long for a year … served as a member of student council and Christmas Cheer and volunteered at softball clinics and the Kristy Mae Edwards Softball Tournament.
