2017 (Junior): Started a team-high 17 games, tying for third-most in a single season at UNCG… Made one relief appearance… Earned a 7-8 record serving as a weekend starter… Recorded a 4.71 ERA in 91.2 innings of work… Tied for the team lead with 80 strikeouts… Threw one complete game and opponents hit .270 against him… Earned four consecutive quality starts (Mar. 4-Mar. 17)… Fanned five or more hitters in seven starts… Threw 7.0 innings, allowing three hits and striking out eight in his first victory of the season over Maryland Eastern Shore (Mar. 4)… Struck out 13 hitters in 8.0 innings of work against Princeton (Mar. 11), fourth most in a single game in school history, earning his second victory… Defeated Lafayette (Mar. 17) after throwing a 7.0 complete game striking out nine hitters and scattering three hits… Earned a victory over ETSU (Apr. 1), going 5.0 innings, striking out two hitters in the fourth win of the season… Notched another victory after throwing 7.0 shutout innings with two strikeouts against Furman (Apr. 7)… Earned his sixth victory over Mercer, throwing 6.0 innings, allowing one earned run with two strikeouts in a victory over Mercer (Apr. 28)… Earned his seventh victory after a quality start against Samford in the first round of the Southern Conference Tournament (May 25), striking out six hitters in 7.0 innings… Started the NCAA Clemson Regional opener against the host Tigers (June 2), going 4.2 innings, striking out three hitters… Made a relief appearance in the third game of the regional, also against Clemson (June 4), going 0.2 innings and recording a strikeout. 

2016 (Sophomore): Appeared in 17 games and started 11… Worked in the weekend rotation for the first half of the season… Earned a 5-3 record with a 6.32 Earned Run Average… Threw in 62.2 innings, striking out 44 batters… Started the season with four-straight quality starts… Fanned a season-high eight in a victory over Binghamton (Feb. 27)… Defeated Illinois (Mar. 12) after pitching 6.0 innings, allowing two runs and struck out a pair… Earned a quality start, striking out one batter against Georgetown (Mar. 25)… Season-best 7.0 innings against Campbell (Apr. 26), allowing five hits and striking out five batters… In a relief appearance against Western Carolina (May 15), struck out the one batter he faced with runners on base.

Catawba Valley CC: Tied for the Catawba Valley team lead with seven wins while finishing the season with a 2.95 earned run average and a team-best 74 strikeouts in 73.1 innings pitched … Tossed four complete games including a no-hitter in a 10-0 victory over New River Community College during which he fanned a season-high 14 batters

High School: Graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School after a decorated prep career … Named 2014 Atlantic Region Honorable Mention by Perfect Game … Earned all-state and all-conference honors while also being named the team's MVP and the Mountain Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year … Helped the Rockets advance to the third round of the 4A state playoffs in 2013 … Tallied a 1.24 ERA and a 5-4 record as a senior, starting 11 contests and throwing four complete games with two shutouts and 84 strikeouts … Started eight of his 10 appearances as a junior and picked up three wins while also hurling a complete game shutout … Also played first base for A.C. Reynolds, posting a 356 batting average last season with 26 hits, seven runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 31 RBI in 73 at bats … Starred for the Asheville Post 70 American Legion team coached by Cort Radford … Broke the single-season club strikeout record … Team set five new program single-season records and reached the third round of the state playoffs.
