2016 (Sophomore): Started the season as the everyday shortstop before an injury forced him to miss 27 games… Hit for a .357 average with 15 extra-base hits… Hit nine doubles, three triples and a trio of home runs… Earned 15 RBI and scored 32 runs… Hit for a .543 slugging percentage… Went a perfect 9-for-9 in stolen bases… Had 14 multi-hit games and four multi-RBI performances… Had a season-high nine game hitting streak… Hit a pair of doubles and scored two runs in a victory over Elon (Feb. 23)… Hit a home run against North Carolina A&T at NewBridge Bank Park (Mar. 22)… Hit home runs his first two games back from injury against UNC Asheville (May 11) and Western Carolina (May 13)… Stole a season-best three bases against North Carolina A&T (Mar. 22)… Ended the season on a four-game hit streak.
2015 (Freshman): Played in 47 games and made 45 starts as the Spartans' shortstop … Batted .252 with 35 hits, 19 runs scored, seven doubles, three home runs and 19 RBI … Led the team with 13 sacrifice bunts, finishing in a tie for first among Southern Conference players and 23rd nationally … Produced 11 multi hit and four multi RBI efforts … Enjoyed a six-game hitting streak from April 4-18 … Hit his first collegiate home run at East Carolina (Feb. 21) … Tallied a season-high three hits in contests against Wake Forest (April 8) and versus VMI (May 21) in the conference tournament … Heated up in the final 10 games of the season, batting .394 and slugging .545.
High School: Teammate of fellow Spartan signee Michael Bates who has played shortstop the past four years for the Titans' varsity squad under head coaches Randy Pope and Brad Bullard … Helped lead West Forsyth to the North Carolina 4A state championship at the UNCG Baseball Stadium … Hit a three-run home run in the decisive game of the state championship series … The Titans were ranked No. 38 nationally by Perfect Game … Named the 2013 team defensive MVP … Earned all-conference honors last season as West Forsyth won the Central Piedmont Conference regular season championship … Hit .271 as a junior with 23 hits, 10 doubles, three home runs and 15 RBI while posting a .388 on base percentage and .906 OPS … Selected to play in Perfect Game tournaments on seven occasions in Georgia and Florida for the Dirtbags showcase team under head coaches Andy Partin and Lee Land … Also participated in the 2013 Powerade State Games for District 5 and his team won the silver medal.
