Head Coach
Corey Carlin was named the fifth head coach in UNCG volleyball history February 12, 2014. Carlin owns 18 total years of collegiate volleyball coaching experience and will enter his fifth season at the helm of the UNCG program during the 2018 season. Carlin led the Spartans to their first-ever Division I postseason appearance in the 2018 season. The Spartans finished the season with a 19-12 mark, going 11-5 in Southern Conference play for the fourth-consecutive season. UNCG earned an appearance in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) played at campus sites throughout the country for its first postseason appearance. Carlin led UNCG down to Athens, Georgia for a matchup with the UCF Knights for the first postseason match, falling in three sets.   FULL BIO

James Goodridge
Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator
Prior to his stop in Charlottesville, Goodridge worked at Northwood University as the head coach of the Division II program in 2014-15. With Northwood, Goodridge coached ten players to a Top 15 ranking in 38 different conference statistical categories, as well as coaching on Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) second team selection, two GLIAC honorable mention selections and 21 All-Academic honorees.   FULL BIO
Taylor Pritchett
Assistant Coach
Taylor Pritchett enters her first season as an assistant coach with the UNCG volleyball program. She joins the Spartans after serving as a volunteer assistant coach last year at NC State. Pritchett is a graduate of Northwood University in Midland, Mich., where she was a setter for Timberwolves volleyball. She played collegiately at Lees-McRae College, Buffalo and Northwood, all under current UNCG assistant, James Goodridge.   FULL BIO
